Great pizza place in Lyndhurst. Never disappointed I always order a thin well done pie when ordering pizza. The sandwiches here are awesome. The honey bbq, hot wings and buffalo chicken wraps are definitely above average. The owner is a good guy and will never steer you wrong.

Something that should be a given with a restaurant: a staff that's professional, courtesy, welcoming, respectful. But if we're being honest - there's way too many pizzerias where you walk in and it feels like you just stepped into a rival gang's territory and you better be strapped when the rumble starts. Those cliques are menacing.
I'm happy to report with Josie's the guy on the phone couldn't have been more friendly and attentive and when I arrived the girl behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. Even the guy slinging pies and the delivery guys were cool.
I'm also happy to report that their pizza is damn good. The pie is on the thinner side, the dough is actually cooked all the way through, the sauce not too sweet.
And you can tell a lot about a pizzeria by their garlic knots - are they just an afterthought as a way to utilize some leftover dough or are they inspired and delicious?
I'm happy to report (one final time!) these garlic knots are pretty big (think a cigar-bowtie-mashup, and not a clumpy meatball shape) and doused with all sorts of tasty Italian seasonings. A dozen of these come in their own pizza box - which should give you an idea on how much you're actually getting compared to some other places around town.
The one downside: parking is atrocious. This part of town is just way too congested with businesses and narrow streets and in dire need of some breathing room. -

Bruschetta was amazing and the pizza was really good too. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

Been going to Josie's since it opened years ago. I mostly order take out or delivery (decent wait time). Their entrees are spot on. Usually order Fettuccini Alfredo with breaded chicken or Chicken with penne pasta in pink Vodka sauce and it's very well-prepar ed and flavorful. Also tried many of there chicken entrees including Chicken Saltimbocca topped with prosciutto and spinach in a brown marsala wine sauce (though the sauce was thin, it was very tasty). Their pizza and sandwiches are pretty good as well compared to the many other pizza joints in town.

Stopped by to get something from my neighborhood pizzeria... it was not busy. At all. Girl who took my order immediately answered a phone order. Stood around waiting for someone to actually place my simple two slices in the oven for quite a few... why? 3 people behind the counter and there was not one person in the restaurant. Looked at me like I was an alien. I had a long day and just wanted to support my neighborhood joint. Never going back again.
